SYSTEM DESIGN NOTES
Integration, documentation & delivery
Platform & operating dataCapacity, thermal management & operating limits
Choose from five cabinet configurations for indoor or outdoor deployment. Active liquid cooling supports continuous-duty thermal management. The table brings together capacity, power, voltage, weight and dimensions; compare those requirements with the selected PCS and control architecture.
Electrical & control integrationPCS, controls & electrical interfaces
Switchgear & Transformers
BX systems tie into low and medium voltage switchgear and step up transformers as part of the interconnection design. Protection coordination, fault ratings and clearances are reviewed against your site's single line diagram.
PCS / Inverters
The power conversion system manages bidirectional flow between the battery and your facility bus. BX sizes PCS capacity to your load profile and configures grid support functions such as ramp control and power factor correction.
EMS / SCADA
The energy management system dispatches the battery against tariffs, demand targets and site schedules, and exposes live telemetry. Integration with existing SCADA and building systems keeps operations in one view.
Solar PV
Storage pairs with new or existing PV to lift self consumption and capture clipped or exported energy. AC and DC coupled architectures are both supported, chosen by site layout and interconnection limits.
Backup Generators
Batteries coordinate with diesel or gas generators for layered resilience. The system carries loads instantly during an outage while generators start only for extended events, cutting fuel use and runtime.
Functions such as backup transfer, grid support, black start and islanded operation depend on the selected power conversion, protection and controls.
Safety & project documentationProtection, certification scope & local approvals
LFP batteries, battery management, liquid cooling and integrated aerosol suppression form part of the battery platform. Review fire protection provisions, installation requirements and the local approval process together.
Confirm model-specific certification scope and documentation against applicable UL, IEC, CSA, CE and regional requirements. Discuss IEC 62619, UL 9540 and NFPA 855 applicability for the selected configuration and installation.
Installation, warranty & supportSite responsibilities, warranty & service
Confirm site access, electrical installation, commissioning responsibilities and operating requirements before procurement. The proposal should identify delivery scope, support, warranty terms and exclusions for the selected configuration.
Discuss standard product warranties, extended coverage options up to 15 years, spare parts and service packages. Availability and terms depend on the equipment, project scope and operating profile.
